Sister Aloysius in 1969 or 1970, was imparting her Shakespearean wisdom to a dulled audience. We were studying Macbeth. She was studying us. Knew who had brains and wasn’t using them, yet gave credence to an unprepared presentation if it was ‘pulled off’. Her comments let you know she knew. I digress. Back to Macbeth. Sister would wait for a thunderous downpour, open the old windows to let the rain saturate the shoulders of those unfortunate enough to be aside of them. Then she would put on a record with Richard Burton’s voice thundering too and tell us to learn, to put ourselves into the shoes of the characters. There was cackling heard from the back of the room. She taught me a lot.
I know you from a response to one of my poems an Wattpad. I am grapher.
